Animated Biases

This piece is about biases and how they affect those that they are about. Each short animation was created with a specific phrase or feeling in mind that corresponds with the bias. The biases represented are against Women, Sexuality other than Straight, Age, and those with disabilities (specifically mental illness). Some examples of the phrases I was thinking of while I created the pieces are:

“You can’t do that it’s a mans job”
“You’ll find the right man someday”
“You’re too young to know whats good for you”
“Why can’t you just try to be happier”

This animation was created with Photoshop and After Effects.

As the Public Relations chair of Alfred State’s Drama Club I was in charge of making posters for our events that we put on. The images below are posters while the one above is a banner made for a Facebook event. These posters were created in photoshop with all of the assets made by me except for the Alfred State and Drama Club logos.
